What works for me will not necessarily be the best therapies for someone else. However, most people want to know exactly what I do. I have included a
list here. However, even for me, this treatment plan changes from time to time.
Juicing is a major part of my diet. I juice various vegetables every day. I believe that juicing is very important for obtaining large
amounts of natural vitamins and minerals each day. My diet consists primarily of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, tofu, and fish. I eat virtually no meat or dairy, except on rare occasions. I do eat eggs and
chickens, but only if they are organic, free-range and antibiotic-free. I eat almost nothing that is processed, except pasta (organically grown). I do not eat anything that has sugar in it. I do not eat any oils
except olive oil and flax seed oil. I believe that sugars and hydrogenated oils are particularly bad when dealing with cancer.
There are numerous possible supplements. My list changes from time to time. They include:
- Immune-enhancing tonic -Red clover, Licorice, Astragalus, Ganoderma, Dandelion, Echinacea, Elecampagne, Yellow dock
- Milk thistle (an important liver tonic)
- Chinese herbal formula - Ginseng, Astragalus, Bupleurum, and other Chinese herbs
- Mushroom tonic - including Maitake, Shiitake, and Cordyceps mushrooms
- Flax seed oil
- Grape Seed extract (100 mg/day)
- CoEnzyme Q10 (400 mg/day)
- Vitamin E (800 I.U./day)
- Vitamin C (3 g/day)
- Selenium (400 mcg/day)
- Multivitamin and minerals
- DHEA (10 mg/day)
- Adrenal support
- Greens+ Powder
- Green Tea
- Essiac Tea
Walk 20-30 minutes a day
Walking keeps my body and mind healthy. I also believe that walking is particularly important for keeping my one lung
I go to a therapist who is a spiritual psychotherapist. I strongly believe in the need to work on the mind, heart, and soul in
trying to recover from cancer.
I have gone to various people who do acupuncture, acupressure, Reiki, Shiatsu, and more. I believe that moving energy through my
body is critical for keeping me healthy.
Going to a chiropractor has helped by generally enhancing my immune system as well as relieving post-surgical pain.
This is extremely relaxing for me and also moves energy through my body. Massage has also helped relieve pain from my surgeries.
I believe meditation is a critical part of my well-being. I use meditation for relaxation and for accessing my inner wisdom.
Yoga and Breathing Exercises
These I believe are especially important for keeping my one lung in good health.
Writing in my journal has been critically important for me. Expressing my feelings, thoughts, and beliefs in my journal has often
helped me make critical decisions concerning my health care.
High Dose Vitamin C (25g) Therapy
These are given as IV drips under the supervision of an alternative M.D.
